Decide how much of your boat you want to be covered by the Bimini top. Ensure there is enough space on your boat.

STEP - 01

Check boat for rod holders.

If you discover that your boat is not equipped with rod holders, you'll need to ensure that our add-on stainless steel base mounts are included in your extension kit for custom installation.

STEP - 02

Determine desired shaded area size.

Our T-Top shade awning is available in lengths of 5', 5.5', 7.5', and 9.5'. When it comes to choosing the right extension size, it's good to know how much shade coverage you want on your boat.

STEP - 03

Measure the distance between mounting points.

The distance between the mounting points on your boat—where the existing rod holders are, or where the base mounts and rear support poles will be installed—will give you the width you need to select the right size for you.

STEP - 04

Base selection on mounting width.

Choose the correct Bimini cover extension for you by basing your size selection on your desired cover length and mounting width at the outward facing side of the boat cover extension.
